Community First Training provides high value, low cost training and development activities to charities, voluntary organisations, social enterprises, statutory bodies and businesses.
Our programmes aim to provide you with the skills to enable you to do your job more effectively and will support your organisation to improve its effectiveness and delivery.
Mental health awareness training delivered by Barbara Allen and Claire Tuson in Havant.
Employment law update training for local voluntary groups at the Plaza in Havant delivered by Jim Gilhooley, director of Morlan Gil Human Resources LTD.

What else we’ve been doing during November 2014
The Right to Work had their second Safeguarding vulnerable adults course this month, aimed this time at the support workers and volunteers.
Never a dull moment in training. This month we went to Canine Parters in Midhurst and did moving and handling for dogs and heavy items. It was lovely to see their little pups doing their training too.
This month we are working with our partners Wecock Farm Big Local to offer Food Hygiene training for residents and WBL volunteers to help with their future events.
Action for children have their second instalment of Food Hygiene training this week to continue running their events and crèches – helping local families in Waterlooville and Havant.
Blackwater Valley Group have been working with our trainer Jeannie to develop their trustee responsibilities and skills. One trustee came to our course back in September and thought it was so great all their other trustees would want to do this.
Bushy Leaze Childrens Centre and Green Gavels Nursing Home have got together to all do food hygiene training this month up at Alton College with us. We are always happy to do training for more than one group… just ask.
Brendoncare have their first of three Infection Control training sessions this month with two more in December. All members of staff will be having this training and regular updates are planned in for next year.
CFHEH youth team are doing their second instalment of Anxiety Awareness to fit in with their plans for anger and anxiety management in young people’s work. We have places if you would like to come along too. [ anxiety awareness flyer and booking form ]
Alton College have their second Emergency First Aider At Work course at the end of the month. Previous delegates mentioned that it was the best first aid they have ever done.You can always try it out for your group too!
